AskBlax.com is a small, Black-owned web portal, founded in 2004, for the sole and express purpose of providing a resource to African Americans seeking answers to our unique set of questions and issues.

As the only free web site featuring articles exclusively from the African-American public, we hope to get to the heart of what's really on the minds of our people. In other words, we do not intend to regurgitate the politically correct advice and opinions of the politicians, the lobbyists, the reverends nor the educators.

In this place, we intend to keep things very, very real, by drawing on the talent, experience and wisdom found within our own community of African American experts. We encourage discussions centering around serious topics, as well as, those meant to uplift the soul and make us smile. We hope to provide our readership with a place to just relax and feel comfortable.
Let's enjoy our culture, let's celebrate it in writing, let's share and interact. But most importantly, let's feel free to express our opinions without fear -- and let's do it right here.
Privacy

Ask Blax will periodically offer polls to gather information about where African Americans stand on certain issues. At our discretion, we may present such statistical data to those in a position to affect change. We will not, however, sell your information to marketers and spammers.
Affiliations

Ask Blax is not affiliated with any political or religious organization. Our belief is that the world can best be lead away from racial antagonisms when first, in America, every person, regardless of color, creed or financial status, is afforded full human and legal rights, including the right to express one's opinion without fear of reprisal.

That being stated, we will not discriminate nor deny membership to non-African Americans. We have, however, made it abundantly clear that the focus of the issues here will be first and foremost by blacks and for blacks.
